SELFIE for TeachersDigital technologies can help you achieve various teaching, learning, and assessment goals regardless of the educational environment in which you find yourself, whether virtual, fully in-person or a hybrid of the two. However, to benefit from digital technologies requires educators to have a specific set of digital competences for their teaching practice and their own professional learning.

In this webinar series we will explore the SELFIEforTEACHERS tool, a self-reflection tool which allows you to learn more about the digital skills you have and identify areas where you can develop further. SELFIE for Teachers is designed for primary and secondary school teachers, is based on the European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators (DigCompEdu), and can be used in conjunction with the SELFIE for Schools tool.

In this webinar series, you will:

  • Learn how to use the SELFIEforTEACHERS tool to develop your digital teaching practice
  • Understand the value the tool can offer in your professional development journey
  • Experiment with the tool
  • You can complete the final activity at your own pace by Monday, 8 November
  • The language of communication is English
  • Share your thoughts on Twitter using the hashtag #SELFIEforTEACHERS_EU and #EdGateway
